Kids Protectis Tablets provide the same clinically studied L. reuteri Protectis (DSM 17938) strain found in BioGaia's baby drops, in a chewable tablet format suited to older children. One tablet supplies the recommended daily dose of 100 million CFU, and dosage is not adjusted by bodyweight, so children take the same amount as adults would.

The tablets sit within BioGaia's wider children's range alongside the baby drops, offering a format that does not need refrigeration or mixing with food. They can be taken alongside antibiotics, with a two-hour gap recommended, and are intended for daily rather than occasional use since L. reuteri does not remain permanently in the gut.
