About Coes
Coats and jackets, knitwear, jeans and tailoring sit alongside boots and trainers for men who want established labels rather than one house line. The customer base runs from country pursuits through to smarter occasionwear, with sizing that extends into Big & Tall for those who need it.
The range draws on GANT, Digel, Lyle & Scott, Marc Darcy, Golding, Polo Ralph Lauren, Schöffel and Selected, alongside the in-house William David label for everyday knitwear and separates. Outerwear leans on Schöffel for country-oriented gilets and coats, while Marc Darcy and Digel cover blazers and suiting for weddings and formal occasions. Ties, belts, wallets and other accessories are stocked to complete an outfit rather than as a category in their own right, and footwear spans boots and trainers rather than a single style. A dedicated Workwear edit and a Cool Linen selection for warmer months sit apart from the core lines.
Coes operates as a multi-brand retailer rather than a manufacturer, trading from stores in Ipswich, Felixstowe, King's Lynn, Maldon and Newmarket as well as online, and also offers a made to measure service and gait analysis for footwear fitting alongside its regular stock.

Questions about Coes
How long does standard Coes delivery take?
Standard UK delivery takes between three and five working days, while Express delivery arrives in one to two working days. Orders are dispatched Monday to Saturday, so anything placed on a Sunday goes out the following Monday.
How do I return an item bought from Coes?
Items can be returned within 30 days of receipt in unused condition with the original packaging for a full refund. In-store sale purchases must be returned within three working days instead of the usual 30.
Which Coes items can't be returned?
Coes will not accept returns on products that have been opened or unsealed, are missing original packaging, or fall into categories such as pierced earrings, swimwear, underwear and beauty products, unless the item is faulty or not as described. Personalised or made-to-measure items and perishable goods are also excluded.
Does Coes ship outside the UK?
Coes offers international delivery to some countries outside the UK and Channel Islands, but shoppers need to contact them directly for a shipping quote. Customers may also be liable for local taxes or duties on delivery depending on the destination country's threshold.
Can I collect my Coes order in-store instead of having it delivered?
Click & Collect is available at all Coes stores in Ipswich, Felixstowe, King's Lynn, Maldon and the Golding store in Newmarket. Collection can take up to five working days from when the order is processed, and shoppers should wait for a 'Ready for Collection' email before travelling.

Alternatives to Coes - Menswear market
- Jules B A designer-led independent stocking Corneliani, Paul Smith and Belstaff alongside GANT, suited to shoppers wanting a more fashion-forward edit at a higher price point.
- Red Menswear A South East independent built around GANT, Marc Darcy and Hackett, better for smart tailoring and occasionwear than for country outerwear or footwear range.
- SD Kells An independent stocking Barbour, Joules and Fynch Hatton, leaning more towards country and casual staples than tailoring or Big & Tall sizing.
- Gun Hill Clothing Another East Anglian independent GANT stockist, useful for shoppers wanting the same brand from a smaller, more local shop rather than a multi-town chain.
