Creosoted Machine Rounds are round-section timber posts that have been machine-turned to a consistent diameter and then treated with creosote, a preservative traditionally used for fencing intended for professional agricultural use. They are supplied in a range of lengths and diameters for use as fence posts, strainers and rails on farms and equestrian sites.
Creosote treatment gives these posts a notably longer working life in the ground than untreated or lightly treated timber, with the site noting a potential lifespan of up to 40 years under the right conditions. They suit farmers, contractors and equestrian centres who need posts able to withstand prolonged exposure to wet ground and livestock without frequent replacement.
