Sophie's Wooden Dolls House

This dolls house is built from sustainably sourced FSC certified wood and finished with non-toxic paint, following the layout familiar across Le Toy Van's range of houses: an open front, several storeys and room dividers that let a child arrange furniture and dolls as they choose. It sits alongside other named houses in the same collection, from the smaller Bluebelle to the larger Palace, each following the same construction standard.

It is meant to be handed down rather than replaced, which is what marks it out from a plastic playset. The wood construction and washable paintwork are built to survive years of handling, drops and stacking, and separate furniture sets and family figures are sold to extend it. It suits a child moving from baby toys towards open-ended, narrative play, where the house becomes a fixed setting for whatever story gets invented that day.
