About Halo Vacuum

Cordless vacuum cleaners built around a separated motor and dust bin, aimed at households wanting whole-home cleaning without the weight of a bagless machine in hand. This design splits the parts a user carries from the parts that hold the dirt, so the working end stays light while capacity goes up.

Three models make up the range. The Original Capsule weighs 2.6kg, holds 1.6 litres in a paper dust pouch and runs on a 32V battery through a 380W motor, though it lacks HEPA filtration. Capsule X, also 2.6kg, adds H13 HEPA filtration and a 2 litre pouch at 400W. Capsule XR steps up to a 500W motor, H14 HEPA and up to 140 minutes runtime, at 2.7kg. All three use carbon fibre bodies, a 2 to 2.5 hour charge time and a 70W floortool. Separately there's the Halo HotSpot, a heated spot washer using 60°C water for stains and spills. Dust pouches and spare 32V batteries are sold for the Capsule X and XR.

Halo's case against rival cordless designs, including Dyson and Shark, is that they keep dirt and motor together in one bagless bin, which adds bulk and weight to the handheld end. Halo separates them instead, carrying only motor and battery in the hand. The company is designed and developed in the UK's Motorsport Valley, drawing on the region's motor and lightweight engineering trade.

Questions about Halo Vacuum

How long does the Halo Capsule X battery last per charge?

Runtime depends on the mode selected: Eco mode runs for over 60 minutes, Performance mode gives 25 to 30 minutes, and Boost mode lasts around 8 to 10 minutes. A full charge takes roughly two to two and a half hours.

Does the Halo Capsule XR use HEPA filtration?

Yes, the Capsule XR uses H14 HEPA filtration, a step above the H13 filtration fitted to the Capsule X. The Original Capsule does not include HEPA filtration.

What comes in the box with the Halo Capsule X?

The Capsule X includes a Motor Brush Head, Crevice Tool, Combination Tool, Extension Tube, a removable battery and Dust Pouches. The battery can be charged either while attached to the machine or separately.

Is the Halo Capsule range good for pet hair?

Yes, the range is designed to handle pet hair well, particularly when fitted with the Mini Power Brush accessory intended for upholstery, stairs and stubborn dirt. Regular emptying of the Dust Pouch keeps suction performance consistent.

How does the Halo HotSpot heated spot washer work?

Halo HotSpot uses 60°C heated water combined with strong suction to lift stains and spills from carpets and upholstery. It is designed for tackling localised messes rather than whole-room cleaning.

How long does Halo Appliances delivery take?

Halo ships orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, and most customers receive their order the next working day. During busy periods such as sales, delivery can take up to seven working days.

How do I return a Halo vacuum if it's not right for me?

Halo offers a 30 day period to try the vacuum at home, and if it is not suitable a full refund is provided on return. Halo also arranges and pays for the return shipping itself.

How long does a Halo refund take once returned?

Refunds are processed within five working days of the goods being received back by Halo. Card providers may then take a further five to ten working days to complete the refund.

Can I cancel a Halo pre-order before it ships?

Pre-orders can be cancelled at any point before they are dispatched, and customers receive a full refund in that case. This applies specifically to orders placed ahead of a product's release.

What does the Halo warranty cover on the Capsule?

The warranty covers repair or replacement if the Capsule breaks down during normal domestic cleaning within the guarantee period, but it does not cover accidental damage. Proof of purchase, in the form of the original order number, is needed to make a claim.
