Sightseeing around the Lake District

This flight departs from Blackpool Airport (EGNH) and returns to the same field, taking in the Lake District National Park along the way. It runs for around 80 minutes in the air, roughly two and a half hours door to door once briefings are included, aboard a four-seat Robin DR400 flown by a private pilot who covers costs with up to two passengers.

The pilot, Richard, is based in Blackpool with a background in the armed forces and experience beyond fixed-wing flying, including gliding and paragliding. Because the trip runs under Visual Flight Rules, it depends on clear weather, and the pilot may need to postpone if conditions are poor. Passengers can cancel up to 24 hours ahead, and the flight is covered by Wingly's Allianz insurance for up to €1,000,000.
